objective coding – clear, cost-effective and quality-assured

With objective coding, we simply review each scanned document and enter basic objective data about each document – creation date, author(s), recipient(s), document type, title and source.

This adds value to your documents, making them easier to locate, use and evaluate. For instance, you can then search for them by date, date range, author and so on. It means you don’t have to use teams of people to search through or collate your documents.

In all cases, our objective coding is highly accurate and standardised to meet the integrity standards required for litigation databases. We follow a project-specific methodology created in collaboration with each individual client. And all of our output is subject to many quality controls throughout the life of the project.

bibliographic indexing and other related services

Bibliographic indexing is essentially enhanced objective coding, used in conjunction with document imaging. Here, we create a database record for each document, capturing the same information as with objective coding, plus Bates range, document characteristics, issues or names in the text, and so on.

We also offer subjective coding, data standardisation, logical documentation unitisation, data manipulation and custom programming. That way, you can codify your documents in the most suitable and cost-effective way possible.
