25 binder ebible project – one day turnaround

Challenge: We received a call from a large UK law firm asking if we could help them out with a difficult situation. They needed a 25 binder ebible turned around in one day, for delivery to one of their top clients. As proud as we are of our speed and flexibility, this was a major challenge, even for us.

Solution: There were a number of factors that enabled us to deliver on time. First and foremost, there was a clear line of communication between us and the client. We responded quickly, picking up the documents, re-prioritising our workload and brought the necessary resources to bear to create the ebible. Working closely with our client throughout, we were able to shorten the approval process without compromising our quality control. By combining expertise, proven technology, accuracy and speed we were able to bring the e bible project to completion on time and error free.

Challenge: This is an ongoing project, which started in December 2005. It involves electronic disclosure. Challenges include the sheer size of the project (now in its third year), as well as the numbers of people who need to review the documents, and the fact that the majority of the project takes place on the client-site. There are also a number of languages to manage. In addition, the client had not handled a case of this size or technicality before, so they enlisted us to consult on best practice, as well as to deliver software and hardware solutions to fit their requirements. There were also various uncertain factors; the size of the project, its complexity, and the time estimated to review the data quantities involved.

Solution: Our relationship with the client quickly grew into one of trust, enabling us to mentor and guide them through difficult stages of the project. Some challenges we both faced were tight deadlines for document production, unforeseeable hardware scaling requirements and flexible language translations. These challenges were overcome by blending our experience with close client consultation, ensuring we always understood their needs. We also had to innovate and anticipate solutions to continue providing the service our client expects and demands.

We've been able to turn a situation which on the surface appeared difficult to one which quickly became, and continues to be, relatively straightforward.
